• Use independent and interdependent judgment to maintain the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed.
• Collaborate with physicians to assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow‑up for the patient population.
• Initiate an ongoing systematic assessment of patients.
• Provide nursing care to meet the needs of hemodialysis patients.
• Interpret assessment data and information.
• Collaborate with providers regarding the dialysis treatment plan.
• Perform hemodialysis as prescribed.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

• Valid temporary or permanent State Registered Nurse License.
• Minimum one (1) year of Hemodialysis experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred:
  Hemodialysis experience in an acute care setting or general acute care experience.
