This role is ideal for a detail-driven accounting professional who has experience in fixed-asset accounting within a manufacturing environment, and who wants a high-ownership role with clear scope and audit visibility, as well as the opportunity to deepen expertise in SOX compliance and ERP environments with a stable and expanding company.

Fixed Assets Accountant | What You Will Do
  • Review and process capital-asset purchase requests in accordance with approved CAPEX policies
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of the fixed-asset subledger to general ledger balances and investigate and resolve differences
  • Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed-asset closing entries and complete related close procedures
  • Maintain fixed-asset tax ledgers, prepare roll-forwards, and maintain and close Asset Management records
  • Prepare documentation and data for internal and external audits, quarterly reviews, and SOX compliance
  • Advise cross-functional teams on fixed-asset policies, CAPEX versus OPEX classification, and documentation requirements
  • Monitor and implement fixed-asset internal controls to preserve reporting integrity and identify risks
  • Support ERP implementations and fixed-asset data-conversion activities as needed
Fixed Assets Accountant | What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, fixed-asset subledgers, and general ledger reconciliation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with business-intelligence reporting tools
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits; SOX and ERP experience preferred
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent-resident status with current authorization to work in the United States
Fixed Assets Accountant | The Perks
  • Medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, and virtual-care options, plus flexible-spending and dependent-care accounts
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • 401(k) and Roth options with employer matching contributions
