Mechanical Design Engineer, EV

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• 5 years of engineering experience, including 2 years in EV powertrain integration
• Proficiency with Solid Works, AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar engineering tools
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Clear technical communication, written and verbal
• Comfortable working independently and across cross‑functional teams
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required

• Develop and refine detailed design models and technical drawings with senior engineers
• Produce documentation that defines mechanical system and component specifications
• Apply FMVSS, state, and customer requirements to design decisions
• Support prototype development and contribute to design reviews with clear feedback
• Troubleshoot and resolve design and performance issues with the team
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and product teams to protect feasibility and manufacturability
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Stay current on EV technology, materials, and manufacturing processes
