Industry leader seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for their facility in Fort Valley, GA. This is a NEWLY created position to support our growth and enhance our lean maturity!
The Right Fit Should Have:
- 1-4yrs of manufacturing lean/operations experience
- Bachelor's of Engineering (or similar discipline)
- Experience in automated & manual production environments
- Ability to maintain a daily presence on the shop floor, engaging with operations and executive leaders
- Experience leading VSM sessions, formal Kaizen events
What You Will Do:
- Lead continuous improvement efforts by improving processes and applying Lean tools like Daily Management, Standard Work, and Problem Solving.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and responses to customer quality issues.
- Take action to prevent product, process, and system quality issues.
- Track and report performance metrics such as KPIs, OEE, and other data.
- Foster a culture of mentoring to develop employees & enhance operational excellence
