Position: Licensed Professional Counselor in Fort Valley, GA - 58356BR

Overview

Make a meaningful impact as a psychotherapist in a supportive skilled nursing/long-term care facilities. Team Health is seeking a passionate and experienced licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist, or licensed mental health counselor to join our team and provide exceptional psychotherapy services. Responsibilities
  • Cover two facilities in Fort Valley and Roberta Trails, Georgia, 1 day a week (weekdays), with the ability to grow to full-time
  • No evenings or weekends work requirements
  • Scheduling flexibility to support work/life balance: set your scheduling preference (e.g., morning start time and rounding days), round-and-go environment, and 48 hours allowed for chart completion
  • Autonomous work environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans for older adults in a long-term care setting
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions
  • Help patients improve their mental well-being and overall quality of life
  • Professional growth: access ongoing training resources to stay current
  • Compensation is Fee for Service (FFS); expected compensation is estimated range of $16,120 to $19,344 annually with no cap on productivity income
  • When the job grows to a minimum of 3.5 days a week, eligible for base salary, health benefits, 401K, paid time off, and more
  • Paid professional liability insurance and tail coverage
Qualifications
  • LPC, LMHC, or LMFT with a current license in Georgia (LCSWs not eligible)
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as an LPC/LMHC/LMFT post-program completion
  • Ability to practice and bill independently without supervisory hours
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
  • Passion for working with older adult populations
