Scope of PositionThe primary purpose of the role of the Continuous Improvement Specialist is to drive continuous improvement activities. The role requires knowledge of Lean and quality principles, along with the ability to implement rapid improvements. The Continuous Improvement Specialist will manage projects, lead through influence, and collaborate closely with plant management, employees, engineering, quality teams, and customers to ensure quality, on‑time delivery, and reliability.

- Lead continuous improvement efforts by improving processes and applying Lean tools like Daily Management, Standard Work, and Problem Solving.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and responses to customer quality issues.
- Take action to prevent product, process, and system quality issues.
- Track and report performance metrics such as KPIs, OEE, and other data.
- Support and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Create and apply consistent processes across teams with Team Leaders.
- Work with leadership across all levels to implement Lean strategies.
- Lead cross-functional improvement projects.
- Train and coach employees at all levels on Lean principles and tools.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION(Minimum Education and/or Experience required)
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar
- 2-4 years of experience working in a lean, ISO and/or quality manufacturing Environment
- 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing organization
- Standard Work and Systems Documentation and Management
- Value Stream Mapping
- Visual Management
- OEE and TEEP
- Total Production Maintenance
- Analytical skills and understanding of problem‑solving techniques/tools
- Data‑driven, disciplined, objective and detail oriented
