English and Reading Teachers Wanted for Fun After-School and Summer Tutoring! Sylvan Learning Center is seeking fun, dedicated teachers to help and inspire students. We are looking for teachers who can teach reading at a 6–12 grade level, with a preferred focus on grammar, upper-level comprehension, and composition.

Sylvan creates individualized learning plans for students of all abilities. Working with groups of up to three students, you will be responsible for leading instruction and motivating students to be successful. There is no lesson plan to create, no homework to grade, no parent-conferencing, and scheduling is flexible.

• You will use pre-planned lessons that are straightforward and easy to manage.
• Teach students in small groups (no more than 3 students per teacher).
• Most teachers work 2–5 days/week.
• Open for instruction on weekday afternoons, weekday mornings in the summer, and Saturday mornings.
• This is NOT a remote position.

• Bachelor’s Degree required;
  Teaching Credential recommended (required for some subjects).
• You must enjoy teaching, working with, and inspiring students.
• Being punctual is essential; you must be local and have reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
