As a member of Barts Electric’s operations and project management team, you will oversee all aspects of assigned commercial electrical projects from commencement to completion—managing them in a manner that exceeds customer expectations and adheres to company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and manage electrical construction projects, ensuring safety, profitability, timeliness, high quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and generate new business; network, establish, and maintain customer relationships.
- Promote a positive company culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations.
- Work proactively with the Purchasing Department and vendors to ensure effective material procurement and coordination.
- Attend all required internal and external project meetings (e.g., ORMs, staff meetings, jobsite coordination meetings, internal financial meetings).
- Participate in the field staff performance review process; conduct timely employee performance reviews with senior leadership, coach employees on growth opportunities, and establish merit wage increases.
- Manage all aspects of project documentation—including submittals, RFIs, contract drawings, and communications.
- Negotiate subcontracts, generate scopes of work, and initiate internal processes to generate subcontracts.
- Manage sub‑tiered subcontractors to ensure accurate, safe, high‑quality scope performance and adherence to our standards, including production, submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation.
