Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a Lead Engineer – C2
SET to provide senior technical leadership and hands‑on engineering expertise for the design, development, sustainment, and evolution of C2
SET software systems supporting C5
ISR Modeling & Simulation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide senior technical leadership in architecting, developing, securing, testing, implementing, and sustaining C5
ISR M&S software solutions. - Lead and integrate software development teams in coordination with Government M&S and contractor personnel.
- Design, update, and replace software, databases, simulations, algorithms, and system components at the direction of the Government C2
SET PM or M&S Design Lead. - Sustain, maintain, improve, and migrate existing C2
SET software capabilities. - Perform software development tasks in accordance with the Contractor PWS.
- Support full‑stack development activities using agile methodologies and associated artifacts.
- Ensure integration and interoperability across M&S platforms and systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years relevant experience or
- Associate’s degree and 10 years relevant experience or
- 12 years’ relevant experience.
- 10 years of relevant software development experience using technologies such as C, Python, AFSIM, web services, databases, and web applications.
- Experience with cloud‑based services (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) and/or RESTful architectures.
- 2 years of experience in military mission planning, operations, and wargaming.
- 2 years of experience supporting simulation training at various levels within Air Operations Centers (AOCs).
- Extensive experience in full‑stack development, agile development, and production of agile artifacts.
- Active Secret Clearance.
