The Boeing Global Services (BGS) and the Product Support Engineering team is seeking an Associate Technical Data Designer to support our F/A-18 program in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The successful candidate will develop, analyze, collect, and store various system support technical data elements and specifications to evaluate and make recommendations. You will provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems.

This role identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and reports. In addition, you will prepare and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.

• Analyze complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures and instructions.
• Collect, research and evaluate source data to develop avionics technical publications according to specifications.
• Develop multiple publication elements for all levels of maintenance for fielded equipment, minor systems, or sub systems.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering and other avionics authors to accomplish tasks.
• Participate in virtual working group meetings.
• Travel may be required.
• May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.

• 3+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance.
• 1+ years of experience with avionics and aircraft systems.
• 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings.

• Associate’s degree or higher, or 5 years of related work experience.
• 3+ years of experience with aircraft avionics maintenance.
• F/A-18 aircraft avionics experience.

Pay & Benefits:
The total rewards package includes competitive base pay, variable compensation, health and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Pay is based on experience and qualifications. Summary pay range: $73,100 - $98,900.
