Job Summary
About the Role
Indotronix seeks a detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Data Specialist 2 to join our onsite team in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This is a 12-month contract opportunity for skilled professionals passionate about maintaining and optimizing fighter jet systems. You will play a vital role in supporting aircraft system data, ensuring top performance, and contributing to operational excellence. Leverage your specialized experience in hydraulic and mechanical aircraft systems to impact mission-critical projects and support advanced aerospace technology.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and store technical data for aircraft system support and evaluation
- Provide recommendations on product supportability for maintenance tasks and support systems
- Identify and analyze logistics support candidates and develop support analysis records and reports
- Determine spare and replacement part provisioning for specific contracts and customers
- Assist in preparing technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/components
- Review operational performance, reliability, and availability of aircraft and fleet systems
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance engineering or equivalent
- Proven hydraulic mechanical maintenance experience on fighter aircraft (F-15 preferred)
- Familiarity with Aircraft Performance Group (APG) procedures (towing, lifting, jacking, leveling, parking, mooring)
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, engines (Pratt & Whitney or GE), ECS, EGRESS, fuel, hydraulic, landing gear, and general vehicle systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with logistics support analysis and documentation
- Knowledge of spares provisioning and inventory management for aerospace systems
- Advanced understanding of aircraft reliability and performance analysis
