Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Potential Extension)
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay: $46/hr. on W2
Job Summary
We are seeking a Support Engineering Data Specialist 2 to support aircraft sustainment, logistics, and maintenance engineering activities for military aircraft programs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on aircraft maintenance experience with strong knowledge of F-15 fighter aircraft systems and Aircraft Performance Group (APG) procedures.
This role supports the development, analysis, collection, and maintenance of technical support data used to improve aircraft reliability, maintainability, availability, and operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on hydraulic/mechanical aircraft maintenance experience.
- Direct experience working on F-15 aircraft.
- Familiarity with Aircraft Performance Group (APG) procedures including:
- Towing
- Lifting & Jacking
- Parking & Mooring
- Experience supporting one or more of the following aircraft systems:
- Hydraulic Systems
- Fuel Systems
- Landing Gear Systems
- Electrical Systems (Fire Protection, Ice Protection, Oxygen Systems)
- Pratt & Whitney or General Electric Aircraft Engines
Preferred Experience
- Fighter aircraft maintenance background.
- Military aviation sustainment experience.
- Aircraft technical publications and maintenance documentation experience.
- Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) exposure.
- Reliability and maintainability analysis experience.
- Aerospace and defense industry experience.
