Overview

We are seeking a Lead Cardiovascular Tech for our team at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital to ensure high quality, efficient care and to mentor the Cardiovascular Tech team.

Responsibilities
  • Leading by example during complex cardiac and vascular procedures, ensuring precision, safety, and compassionate care
  • Coaching, mentoring, and precepting team members to build confidence, skill, and alignment with best practices
  • Overseeing workflow, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining a safe, sterile, and fully prepared environment
  • Advocating for patients and families throughout the care journey, providing guidance, education, and reassurance
  • Driving team success by supporting hiring, onboarding, and communication of new practices and standards
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician

Job Summary And Qualifications
As the Lead Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be more than an expert in the lab—you’ll be the guide who sets the standard for excellence.
