IT & Cybersecurity Operations Manager​/ISSO; In-Office

Overview

Anyar, Inc. is currently seeking an IT & Cybersecurity Operations Manager/ISSO (In-Office) to support our network infrastructure, desktop hardware/software, AWS, local compute enclaves, customer server deployments, Dev Sec Ops , and unique customer applications. This includes the configuration, maintenance, and administration of server and workstation environments using Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Office 365, as well as network design and vulnerability evaluation.

• Dual-Domain Ownership:
  Lead the integration of IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity as a working manager, ensuring seamless implementation of both NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 controls.
• ISSO Leadership:
  Serve as the designated Information System Security Officer, maintaining all compliance documentation (SSP, POA&M) and leading audit readiness for federal contracts.
• Hybrid Engineering:
  Personally execute all hands-on technical tasks, from VLAN segmentation and firewall rules to VMware/Hyper-V cluster management.
• Technical Instruction:
  Act as the primary subject matter expert and trainer, conducting on-site sessions to ensure staff proficiency in security protocols and system usage.

• Security Tool Administration:
  Directly configure and monitor the security stack, including SIEM log analysis, Vulnerability Scanning, and EDR/AV deployment.
• Network & Virtualization:
  Design and maintain secure, segmented networks via VLANs; manage the full lifecycle of virtualized servers using VMware or Hyper-V.
• Compliance Lifecycle:
  Implement the technical controls for NIST 800-53/171 and perform regular internal audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• IT Operations:
  Manage Active Directory (GPOs), Microsoft Exchange, and enterprise backup/disaster recovery solutions to ensure 24/7 business continuity.
• Hands-on Support:
  Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues on-site and provide white-glove technical support to the organization.

• SIEM/Log Management:
  Experience configuring and monitoring Security Information and Event Management tools.
• Vulnerability Management:
  Proficiency in running and remediating scans using tools like Nessus/Tenable or Qualys.
• Endpoint Protection:
  Mastery of EDR/MDR solutions to protect both physical and virtual assets.
• Network Defense:
  Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, or Computer Science (Mandatory).
• Experience:
  
  5+ years of combined IT and Security management with proven ISSO experience.
• Networking & Virtualization:
  Expert-level ability to build and secure VLANs and virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Certification:
  Minimum CompTIA Security+ is required.
• Work Setting:
  This is an in-office position located in the Florida Panhandle; candidates must be comfortable with physical hardware maintenance and face-to-face training.

• Clearance:
  Active or prior Security Clearance is highly preferred.
• Advanced
  
  Certifications:
  
  CISSP, CCNP, or CISM.
• Audit
  
  Experience:
  
  Experience leading organizations through CMMC.

Office setting that includes sedentary physical effort. However, may include lifting of weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary. Must be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management.

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
