IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst

Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.
The Work
The IT Project Manager is responsible for successful planning, executing, and closing information technology (IT) projects in support of client objectives. This individual ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting the quality standards and requirements set forth by the organization and federal government guidelines. The IT Project Manager acts as the primary point of contact for all project communications, interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and is accountable for the delivery of all project outcomes.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Perform IT project management duties consistent with the labor category and required project management certifications.
- Maintain and apply required certifications (CompTIA Project+; Project Management Professional) within the scope of assigned duties.
- Coordinate with project managers spanning the host base, wing, group, squadron, and external agencies, to initiate, plan, execute, and control activities within the negotiated scope and schedule.
- Understand project and configuration management concepts and methodologies at the associate level equivalent to:
CompTIA Project+, or similar certification. - Ensure Planning and Identification of projects is completed including, but not limited to:
Scope of Change, Requirements, Test Cases, Software, and Hardware. - Ensure Version Control and Baseline is completed including but not limited to:
Classifying components covered by the project, ensuring tracking of versions (Current vs Proposed), and ensuring standard naming conventions are used (names, labels, revisions, files). - Ensure Change Control includes but is not limited to ensuring the 5-phase change control process is employed across all networks and teams, ad-hoc changes, Impact analysis, and ensuring Flight Approval prior to change implementation, along with coordinating and auditing the Configuration Management Process and hosting monthly Change Control Boards or as needed.
- Ensure Configuration Status Accounting is completed including but not limited to:
Recording and evaluating changes made from one baseline to the next, monitoring the status and resolution of all change requests, and ensuring documentation is maintained, created, and updated. - Ensure Audits and Reviews are completed including but not limited to: ensuring goals from planning phase are met, ensuring change is compliant with standards, and ensuring changes match reports
- Support functions aligned to the DCWF IT Project Manager work role as applicable.
- Support coordination of tasks, schedules, and deliverables across stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.

- IT Project Manager Senior:
- MBA or Master’s in IT Management.
- PMP Certification.
- 3-7 years in IT project/program management. Proven Experience supervising direct reports.
- Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
