DevOps Engineer; Azure

Positions are full-time and onsite (in-person) at our office in beautiful Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

As a Talking Parents Dev Ops Engineer, you will work with other Dev Ops, Software, and Quality Assurance engineers of the highest caliber to design, build, and maintain reliable, automated systems that support our mission. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using Github Actions
• Automate Azure cloud infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform/Bicep
• Manage and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure uptime, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of production Azure cloud systems
• Collaborate with developers to streamline Github Action deployments, resolve bottlenecks, and accelerate release cycles
• Implement and enforce security best practices across Azure cloud infrastructure and Github Actions
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents; participate in on-call rotations
• Contribute to mentoring teammates and promoting Dev Ops culture / best practices
• Partner with project management and stakeholders to monitor progress and ensure successful delivery of initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 3–5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Function Apps, VNets, Front Door, Azure SQL, Application Insights)
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Git Lab CI)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar)
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Power Shell and familiarity with OOP principles
• Understanding of event‑driven and queue‑based architectures (Azure Storage Queues, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.)
• Solid grasp of networking, security, IAM, and load balancing concepts
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross‑functional environments
