Position Overview
Contractor develops targeting intelligence training and provides subject matter expertise to support AFSOC organizations and units
Essential Job Function- Curriculum: Develops and updates targeting intelligence curriculum. Creates and modifies all training materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and practical exercises, to meet AFSOC training requirements.
- Coordination and
Collaboration:
Coordinates with AFSOC units to identify training needs and share best practices. Liaises with joint, Air Force, and SOCOM targeting organizations to leverage resources and promote interoperability. - Subject Matter Expertise: Acts as a subject matter expert for targeting methodologies and tools. Assesses the training and operational needs of AFSOC's targeting enterprise.
- Operational and Technical Support: Advises and supports units on the access, utilization, and optimization of targeting software. Supports the development of targeting TTPs and provides direct support for the targeting lifecycle, including Target System Analysis, Target Development, Mission Planning, and Combat Assessment.
- TS Clearance
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as intelligence studies or related discipline.
- Must be a graduate of the Air Force Target Analyst Course (1N8 AFSC Awarding Course) or Joint Target Analyst Course equivalent. Minimum 5 years combined hands‑on targeting analyst (1N8) and Instructional Systems Design experience out of the last 12 years.
