System Administrator

Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Administrator to join our Information Technology team supporting the Air Force Special Operations (AFSOC) Air Commando Training Support (ACTS) contract.

• Automate, install, configure, administrate, patch, and security harden COTS and open‑source applications, including operating systems.
• Perform regular server updates, patch management, and software installations.
• Administer server architecture, specifications, software, networking, and virtualization.
• Manage domain architecture, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Domain Trust, and file share management.
• Work with common operating systems such as Windows Server 2008‑19, Linux, Solaris, RHEL, and CentOS.
• Implement solutions for Advanced Computer Security Directives and Requirements such as Risk Management Framework (RMF) and STIGs.
• Configure virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi, vSphere/Horizon, and Microsoft Hyper‑Visor.
• Install servers and clients; configure operating systems, services, applications, storage, virtualization, and custom software to support test, training, and cybersecurity evaluations of DoD systems.
• Obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

• Experience automating, installing, configuring, administrating, patching, and security hardening COTS and open‑source applications, including operating systems.
• Experience performing regular server updates, patch management, and software installations.
• Solid understanding of server administration, server architecture, specifications, software, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience with domain architecture:
  Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Domain Trust, and file share management.
• Experience with common operating systems:
  Windows Server 2008‑19, Linux, Solaris, RHEL, and CentOS.
• Knowledge of solution implementation for Advanced Computer Security Directives and Requirements (RMF, STIGs).
• Working knowledge of virtualization technologies: VMware ESXi, vSphere/Horizon, Microsoft Hyper‑Visor.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
