The opportunity to design, build, and maintain critical network infrastructure for the Department of Defense. A well‑designed network is critical to move data and enable our clients to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skills and careful planning.
We need a network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the DoD needs.
- Upgrade or develop enterprise‑wide infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Analyze current working infrastructures.
- Increase security, reliability, and availability for mission‑critical network systems.
- 8+ years of experience working in Information Technology
- 3+ years of experience providing comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services
- 3+ years of experience establishing portal or web services, including design of medium to large enterprise farms, geographical replication, interfacing with external data sources and integration of third‑party add‑ons
- 3+ years of experience providing data storage, including in SANs technologies, NAS technologies, iSCSI, and DAS
- Knowledge of enterprise data, voice, and video networks
- Ability to perform disaster recovery and backup and restore, monitor PKI and certificate authority, and provide CRM
- Ability to support efforts for cybersecurity technology, risks identification and risk mitigation strategies related to cybersecurity, and A&A support documentation in accordance with applicable DoD and IC directives
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification and DoD IAT Level II Certification
- Bachelor's degree
- CCNP Data Center, CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security, CCNP Service Provider, CCDP, CCIoT, Aruba Certified Mobility Professional, or Juniper Networks Certified Specialist certifications
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
CompensationThe projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors including location, experience, and organizational requirements. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs, which include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
