Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 28-bed inpatient unit in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic acute care environment. Nurses work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and evidence-based care delivery.

• Assess patients upon admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring therapeutic response.
• Perform ordered procedures and clinical interventions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and follow-up care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs while promoting a safe, healing environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes and efficient patient throughput.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (acute care not required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within required timeframe).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• Acute care or medical-surgical experience.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
