Overview

Gulf Coast Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females, ages 12-18. Since 1996, we have been dedicated to providing quality mental health treatment to adolescent females with chronic mental health needs nationwide. Gulf Coast Treatment Center provides comprehensive mental healthcare and education services for at risk female adolescents, families and our community.

Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity at our Fort Walton Beach, FL location. The role is part-time, 3pm-11pm, with availability to cover other days/shifts as requested. The RN is the primary care coordinator for the interdisciplinary team and is accountable for the implementation of a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician(s) and treatment team. The RN provides leadership in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting, medical management and assessment of patients, ensures environmental safety, and works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.

3pm-11pm shift every Monday and Friday, with every other weekend coverage.

• Education:
  
  Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric healthcare facility and/or adolescent healthcare setting preferred
• Licensure:
  Currently licensed as a Florida RN
