RN Psychiatric Health PRN

Overview

Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health - PRN. You will contribute to patient care through collaborative relationships with your manager and participation in hospital initiatives. You will help shape decisions that elevate patient outcomes and advance nursing practice.

• Assesses patient condition during admission and each shift as scheduled or as needed, identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates patient needs to resolve them proactively.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery.
• Acts as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems to coordinate ongoing care for specialized patient groups.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
