Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN), you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, high‑quality care to patients at our medical‑surgical service line. Your clinical skills, attention to detail, and compassionate presence help create healing experiences and support a team committed to the improvement of human life.

• Provide focused nursing care for patients with complex needs, administering medications, managing lines or drains, and assisting with interventions such as cardiac monitoring or respiratory support.
• Closely observe patients for subtle changes in status—heart rhythm, oxygen levels, or neurological signs—and expedite concerns for early intervention.
• Document timely, accurate updates to help the care team coordinate effectively in a high‑acuity environment.
• Help patients and families understand complex conditions and recovery steps with clarity and comfort.
• Work collaboratively with RNs, providers, and specialists to stabilize patients and guide them through the transition from intensive care toward recovery.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• IV Therapy certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• LPN/LVN license (and current registration).
• Certificate in a relevant area of practice or demonstrating competency.
• No travel required.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
