Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

Gulf Coast Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females ages 12‑18. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Fort Walton Beach, FL location. The RN will work the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift and be available to cover other days or shifts as requested for time off. The RN is the primary care coordinator for the interdisciplinary team, accountable for implementing a collaborative care plan as directed by the physician(s) and treatment team.

The RN provides leadership in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting, medical management and assessment of patients, ensures environmental safety, and works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.

Availability to work Monday 7 a.m.–3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

• Education:
  
  Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health‑care facility and/or adolescent health‑care setting preferred.
• Licensure:
  Currently licensed as a Florida RN.
