Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) will serve as the primary care coordinator for the interdisciplinary team at Gulf Coast Treatment Center, an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females ages 12-18. The RN will work the 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. shift, with additional coverage available as requested. Responsibilities include implementing collaborative care plans prescribed by physicians and the treatment team, providing medical management and assessment of patients, ensuring environmental safety, and maintaining nursing standards within a therapeutic milieu.
AvailabilityThe position requires shift work 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. and availability to cover other days or shifts as requested. Additionally, the RN must be able to work 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

QualificationsEducation:
Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program required.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health care facility and/or adolescent health care setting preferred.
Licensure:
Must hold a current Florida RN license.
