Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab​/EP

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing or recovering from cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures in the Cath Lab. Ensures patient safety, manages complex equipment, and collaborates with medical teams to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre- and post-procedure nursing care for cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology interventions.
• Operate and monitor advanced cardiac equipment such as Impella, IABP, and TAVR devices.
• Assess patient condition continuously, including vital signs and rhythm monitoring, and respond to changes appropriately.
• Document procedures, assessments, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
• Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with cardiovascular procedures, including PCI, PFO, and device implants.
• Strong technical skills in operating cardiac monitoring and procedural equipment.
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
