Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab​/EP

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting complex cardiovascular procedures and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This role requires advanced technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with procedures such as TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP implants, DCCV, and TEE.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical status throughout procedures, providing prompt intervention if needed.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in Mac Lab and Meditech systems.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure compliance with unit-specific policies and protocols.
• Support float policies within the department, including EP and Stress Lab coverage.
• Maintain certification requirements, such as ACLS and BLS, and stay updated on new technological advances.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with equipment such as GE Innova, Impella, and related procedural tools.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of structural heart interventions, IABP, and Impella procedures.
• Maintain professional credentials and adhere to hospital dress code and safety policies.
