LocationEglin AFB, Fort Walton Beach, Florida – supporting the F‑35 Lightning II Program.
Responsibilities- Serve as a Security Generalist for classified and unclassified areas of the F‑35 Academic Training Center (ATC) and/ or F‑35 Fighter Squadrons.
- Control and manage unclassified/classified material documentation, media and physical security for multiple Special Access Program (SAP) facilities.
- Control access and badging to all F‑35 areas in specified facilities, provide escort services when required and assist in planning and execution of program security operations related to SAP facilities.
- Perform other security duties as directed by the Site Security Manager.
- Primarily assigned to First shift with occasional flexibility for other shifts, including weekends, as required by customer needs.
- Occasional business travel, including deployment and detachment support in austere locations, may be required.
- Experience providing oversight to multiple security functions.
- Current SECRET clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years or confirmed enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to SAPs.
- Industrial and/or military security experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Experience working on the F‑35 Program.
- Knowledge of ICD‑705 Physical Security.
- Previous SAP experience and knowledge of DoD 5205.07.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and work in a team setting to achieve common goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products.
This position requires a government security clearance and U.S. citizenship. Clearance level:
Secret with investigation or CV date within 5 years.
