ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:
- Program and Policy Management:
Advise on the SCI security program, implementing and maintaining policies from the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), DoD, and USAF. Develop, evaluate, and monitor procedures to protect SCI material. - SCIF and Facilities Lifecycle:
Manage all SCI facility and temporary secure working area (TSWA) validation proceedings. Generate concept validation, pre‑construction, and accreditation packages. Prepare SCIF construction specifications and security alarm/reaction plans based on IC Directive 705 and DoDM 5105.21. - Security Operations:
Investigate SCI security infractions and prepare reports on findings. Devise risk‑based, cost‑effective physical security plans that minimize operational interference. Coordinate the selection and installation of intrusion detection systems and other security hardware.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent problem‑solving and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and office automation software, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant security field or related discipline.
- Five years of hands‑on personnel and information security experience within the last 12 years, including at least five years supporting Air Force and Special Operations Personnel and Information Security programs.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
