HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to support physical, construction, and personnel security for the 14th Weapons Squadron, located at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The role involves working across multiple security levels, up to and including TS/SCI and TS/SAR.
Responsibilities- Manage Commander's PERSEC/Physical/Industrial SAP security program in accordance with ACC guidance and regulations.
- Develop, administer, and maintain security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Study and implement federal security regulations applicable to company operations, including DoDM 5202.07, ICDs, and the NISPOM.
- Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
- Develop and lead Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) programs, delivering defensive briefings, insider threat training, and refreshers to cleared staff.
- Prepare manuals outlining regulations and establish procedures for handling, storing, and maintaining records and for granting personnel and visitor access to restricted records and materials.
- Conduct security education classes and security audits; investigate violations and prepare preventive action reports.
- Maintain facility accreditation paperwork, including Concept Validation, Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC), Security Operating Procedures, and other required documentation for SCIF/SAPF or controlled/open storage areas.
- Provide support and expertise for all aspects of construction security for USAFWS SCIF/SAPFs, including development of Construction Security Plans (CSP) and coordination with designated SSOs.
- Establish policies and procedures for special access functions, evaluate compliance, identify deficiencies, and analyze security vulnerabilities with government supervisor approval.
- Plan, organize, and direct collateral security program activities at the squadron level, reviewing and resolving complex problems related to secure systems, policies, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of DISS application.
- Six years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or four years with a Master's degree, or ten years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Working knowledge of industrial security program, SCIF operations, access control, and S/SAP or TS/SAP facility accreditation.
- Bachelor’s degree (any relevant field).
- Previous PKI access and JPAS utilization.
- Two years of active duty, reserve, or guard service.
- Experience in secure, controlled environments with an understanding of access control.
- Previous GSSO or CPSO experience.
- Three years of experience working in a USAF environment as active duty, guard, reserve, civilian, or contractor.
