As a Security Officer Patrol in Fort Walton Beach, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. • Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate personnel while following post orders and location guidelines.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and/or de‑escalation during busy business periods, special events, deliveries, and closing procedures.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
