WHAT WE'RE DOING
The Military Operations Analyst will support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Air Commando Training Support (ACTS) contract. The primary focus is on executing Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), Mission Rehearsals (MR), and virtual Calls‑For‑Fire training for the AFSOC Readiness Training Center (RTC). The analyst will collaborate closely with military customers, internal functional teams, and remote partners to ensure seamless mission support.
THEWORK
Key Responsibilities:
- Distributed Mission Operations (DMO):
Design, plan, configure, and execute DMO scenarios using the Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE) simulation platform. - Mission Rehearsals & Calls‑For‑Fire:
Conduct realistic virtual rehearsals and fire‑training events that align with AFSOC readiness objectives. - Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with AFSOC personnel, site functional areas, and dispersed teams to fulfill training and operational requirements. - Training Requirements Alignment:
Integrate Mobility Air Force (MAF) and Combat Air Force (CAF) training standards into all exercise plans. - Documentation & Reporting:
Produce after‑action reports, lessons‑learned documentation, and recommendations for future training cycles.
- AFSOC / SOF
Experience:
Proven background in AFSOC or other Special Operations Force mission coordination and operations. - MACE / DMO Expertise:
Hands‑on experience designing, planning, and executing DMO scenarios utilizing the Modern Air Combat Environment platform. - Training Knowledge:
Familiarity with Mobility Air Force (MAF) and Combat Air Force (CAF) training requirements and standards.
- Operational Background:
Former Combat Controller (CCT), AFSOC‑qualified pilot, Fire Control Officer (FCO), Weapon System Officer (WSO), Navigator (NAV), or Combat Systems Officer (CSO). - Mission Planning:
Direct experience as an AFSOC mission planner.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
