MechanicalGeneral Laborer – Hurlburt Field, FL
Responsibilities: Perform tasks that involve physical labor at a construction site using hand and power tools of all types. Assist other craft workers in their duties, clean and prepare sites, remove rubble and debris, and handle non-hazardous waste materials. Operate one or several types of power construction equipment as required. Implement safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Receive on-the-job training and certifications for safety, equipment operations, and other project needs. Prevailing wages will be paid for work performed on a military installation.
Pay Range: $18.00–$25.00 per hour
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, 1 week of vacation and sick time.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED (preferred minimum formal education).
- One or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in commercial construction; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
- Forklift certification and logistics/warehouse/residential experience a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred. Specific training or certificates in the following are also preferred:
- Forklift/Manlift training and certificate
- Fall protection training
- Scissor lift/boom lift certificate
- OSHA 10‑hour
