We specialize in fast‑track new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense market.

Metal Installer

We are looking to hire a Sheet Metal Installer to join our self‑perform team for ongoing work at Naval Air Station Pensacola and Hurlburt Field Air Force Base in Okaloosa County, FL. Applications are being accepted into a candidate pool for this position at this moment in time.

Our Sheet Metal Installers will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves the technical application of mechanical principles and requires appropriate equipment and safety practices in support of RQ's mission, vision, and values.

Per diem may be eligible for qualified candidates not local to the Pensacola region.

Pay: $25.00–$49.00 per hour

Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimum education required.
  • 4 or more years (or equivalent) of field or trade work experience as a journeyman‑level sheet metal worker in a commercial, industrial, or facilities‑operations setting. Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
