Hampton Inn Walton - Engineer-Preventative Maintenance

Overview

Full Time Preventative Maintenance Engineer. Open availability required including weekends. Primarily PM shift but flexible for other shifts as needed to support hotel operations.

• Fix-It Pro: Perform preventative maintenance across building systems and amenities, including bulbs, patching vinyl, painting touch-ups, and repairs to furniture and tiles to keep property looking and functioning well.
• Equipment Whisperer: Service and tune equipment such as ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen appliances, laundry gear, HVAC systems, and pool/spa equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Safety Hero: Respond to alarms, investigate causes, and report findings to relevant teams to maintain guest and staff safety.
• Trusted Access: Handle access to sensitive hotel areas and information with integrity, including safes, keys, storage rooms, and secured files.
• Guest Connection: Interact professionally with guests and colleagues, representing the company with good judgment and driving safely when required for business.

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred
• Valid driver’s license (state-specific)
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (property-specific)
