The function of the Level 1 Fire Alarm Construction Technician is to aid in the installation, repair, renovation and maintenance of all fire alarm types.

• Install, repair, renovate and maintain all fire alarm types in a timely and efficient manner
• Load and handle materials and equipment
• Maintain company vehicles to ensure appropriate working order and appearance
• Complete daily reports and any other required paperwork
• Ensure safety conditions at all time to include but not limited to the use of protective equipment (safety glasses, masks, gloves, etc.)
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with all employees of AFPS, as well as customers, other vendors and prospective customers
• Use of basic hand tools
• All other duties as assigned

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to be insured on company automobile insurance
• Acceptable background check and drug screening

• Basic arithmetic
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Intermediate computer and software skills
• The ability to communicate in English
