RolePrecision is seeking a Project Manager for the Maryland project. The Project Manager will lead the project from preconstruction through final closeout, ensuring execution aligns with schedule, budget, and quality standards. This role is responsible for contract administration, subcontractor coordination, cost control, schedule oversight, risk management, and client communication. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with field leadership, estimators, and executive management to drive project performance while maintaining strong relationships with owners, employees, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities& Duties
- Safety:
Ensure the site is safe and compliant with Cal‑Osha or OSHA. - Quality:
Ensure the project quality meets or exceeds owner expectations and all plans and specification requirements. - Schedule:
Ensure the project is completed per our schedule in the Owner Contract. - Take direction from the Senior Project Manager, who oversees the project(s) to which you are assigned.
- Work with subcontractors to:
- Obtain proposals and help define/clarify scopes of work.
- Review and organize the project schedule and assure project completion on schedule.
- Ensure subcontractors provide enough manpower to complete the project on schedule.
- Encourage subcontractors to complete their work quickly and according to specifications.
- Ensure all site personnel follow all safety protocols, including OSHA, CalOSHA and all applicable safety standards.
- Verify completed work by subcontractors who are submitting invoices.
- Collect and code invoices for draw submittal.
- Review and advise the Senior Project Manager on all costs that are not included in the base contract with the project owner and or the applicable subcontracts.
- Oversee budget to ensure the project(s) stay within budget parameters.
- Participate in weekly site meetings and join in monthly draw meetings.
- Track completed work at assigned project(s) using Microsoft Project software.
- Communicate with site management regarding progress of work and notices.
- Work with suppliers to:
- Order needed supplies (using purchase order numbers).
- Follow up on ordered materials (ordered by PGCC or subcontractors).
- Work with PGCC staff to ensure that all subcontractors have current insurance certificates.
- Follow up on needed items for assigned project(s).
- Complete subcontracts and scopes when requested; forward contracts to the Senior Project Manager for review and signature.
- Provide a weekly updated project status report on assigned projects by Monday of each week.
- Assist in preparation of Close‑out Manuals.
- Bachelor's degree in construction science, construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5+ years REHAB construction project management experience in the multifamily building environment.
- Proficient in MS Project and electronic scheduling required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to manage client relationships.
- Proficient in reading and understanding construction documents (architectural, structural, mechanical, specifications, etc.).
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
- Proficiency in construction methods, budgeting software, and scheduling tools.
- Demonstrated ability to problem‑solve.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects accurately.
- Previous experience working on affordable housing and multistory construction projects.
- Must possess a valid state‑issued driver's license, proof of current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Able to drive long distances to make multiple site visits daily.
- Able to stand, bend, reach, stoop and lift boxes up to 60 lbs.
- Able to coordinate hand‑eye movement.
- Able to work in a paced environment for extended periods of time.
- Able to sit at a desk, working on computer and phones for a full work day.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
- Able to walk around and stand for long periods of up to 4 hours at a time.
- Ability to use two or more limbs (e.g., two arms, two legs, or one arm and one leg) simultaneously while sitting, standing, or lying down.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
