Elementary School Math and ELA Tutors

Smart Start Education, LLC seeks Elementary School Math and ELA Tutors to deliver high-quality small-group and 1:1 instruction for K-5 students. In this part-time role, you will provide targeted support in foundational math and literacy skills, aligned to state standards and school curricula. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, using formative assessments to monitor progress, and adjusting instruction based on data.

You will collaborate with school staff, follow school schedules and expectations, and maintain clear documentation of student performance. This role offers a mission-driven, flexible environment focused on improving K-12 learning outcomes nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and 1:1 Math and ELA tutoring for elementary students aligned to standards and school curricula.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that build foundational math and literacy skills.
• Use formative assessments and data to track student progress and adjust instruction.
• Support test preparation and skill reinforcement to improve academic performance and confidence.
• Collaborate with school leaders and teachers to align goals, schedules, and student support plans.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson activities, and student performance.
• Integrate appropriate educational technology tools to enhance instruction and practice.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learners and needs.
