The Opportunity

Provides on-site support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the firewalls/client/server/routers/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides help desk services for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provides support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages Windows, LINUX and UNIX operating systems. Installs/loads operating system software. Troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancement to improve reliability and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble‑shooting IT systems, imaging and backup.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers and escalated tickets.
  • Build, configure and manage Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components, along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance. LINUX and UNIX desired.
  • Expertise in Active Directory and Domain Administration.
  • Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service‑oriented Architecture (SOA), Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Network (STE/STN), etc.
  • Establish, maintain and perform configuration management for ITC classified and unclassified network systems in accordance with DoD[NSA IT regulations.
  • Build, configure, understand, implement and Information System Security Plan (ISSP) and secure the enterprise (STE) in accordance with DoD/NSA computer security regulations, to include applying STE attributes, if applicable.

Qualifications
  • TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Ten (10) years' experience as a Network Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity's required
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Seven (7) years of additional Network Administration experience may be substitute for a bachelor's degree.
