Our professionals specialize in national security and intelligence delivery services for the Department of War (DoW), the Intelligence Community (IC), and other federal and commercial entities, with work spanning Mission Engineering & Systems Integration, Strategic Advantage & Warfighter Support, and Operational Enablers.

This is an on-site position located at Fort Washington, MD.

Directly support the Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) and the Concept Development Management Office, Enterprise Operations (CDME). The candidate will have expertise in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform products such as Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate. The developer will work with program management, senior leadership, contracts personnel, senior technical personnel, and other support organizations to create and support business applications, reports, and workflows with a Power Platform solution.

The role includes requirements gathering, solution design and development, testing, and support across technology delivery.

The Developer leverages expertise in Microsoft Office and Power Tools to streamline workflows and provides operational and technical support for the organization’s server, network, and cloud environments, including Active Directory, virtualization, firewalls, and collaboration tools. Responsibilities include maintaining system reliability, supporting infrastructure improvements, and ensuring secure IT operations. The Technical Specialist monitors system health, manages user access, implements security updates, identifies vulnerabilities, and participates in deployment and configuration of new technologies, system upgrades, and software implementations, including testing and documentation.

It also includes delivering Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, maintaining technical documentation, assisting with IT asset lifecycle management, vendor coordination, and procurement support under senior leadership. The Technical Specialist contributes technical insight toward evaluating emerging technologies and improving operational processes that support business and security objectives.

• Understand and translate business requirements into well-architected solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
• Collaborate with SMEs and domain experts to understand client business needs
• Develop and support custom solutions and interfaces using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and RPA
• Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing using low and no-code options
• Utilize connectors, AI Builder, design Power BI reports and dashboards, build Power Apps and portals, and create Power Automate workflows
• Design and create database models
• Lead technical design sessions; collect and document functional requirements
• Embed Power Platform components in Teams, SharePoint, web apps, and more
• Govern, address, and remediate security vulnerabilities in Power Platform
• Install and configure data gateways
• Develop Azure logic apps and Azure functions to extend Power Platform capabilities
• Perform unit testing and resolve issues in a timely fashion
• Document and demonstrate solutions with flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and user guides
• Demonstrate creativity and initiative in delivering new solutions

• Agile Software Development Experience
• Experience with Jira or Azure Dev Ops
• Experience developing and maintaining documentation, frameworks, and strategies related to Power Platform
• Background in data warehouse design and data mining
• Knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Dataverse
• Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure
• Ability to collaborate with clients and deliver quality results
• Strong presentation skills for various audience sizes
