Senior Solutions Architect
SMX is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join a federal pursuit. How would you like to be part of a leadership team made up of experts and senior level staff who have experience, capacity and capability to lead large scale portfolios. The leadership team will foster the organizational culture of high performing solution delivery. This position is onsite in Camp Springs, Maryland and requires a federal clearance.
The Senior Solutions Architect provides end-to-end solution design and technical leadership for complex, multi-tier systems under this task order. The position designs and documents application, data, integration, and infrastructure architectures; integrates cloud, container, networking, and monitoring technologies; and ensures solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability objectives. The architect supports Agile/Dev Sec Ops delivery, CI/CD, and automated testing; evaluates technologies and recommends approaches based on requirements and risk;
guides implementation teams; and produces clear architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guidance.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Active DHS Suitability clearance required
- Direct experience working within DHS USCIS
- Bachelor's degree required
- SAFe Agile methodology proficiency
Competencies:
- Ability to communicate complex technical details clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong skills in translating technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders

The proposed salary for this position is:
$103,100 - $171,800 USD
