* Job Description:

** The Information Security Manager is a crucial mid-to-senior level role responsible for protecting ISA's corporate and client-facing information technology systems, ensuring rigorous regulatory compliance, and managing physical security infrastructure. In our organization, this professional serves as the primary Lead for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance, actively performs Information System Security Manager (ISSM) duties for accredited networks, and oversees the comprehensive security administration and physical management of our Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).#

** Responsibilities:
** The Data Engineer provides hands-on design, development, and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines and data infrastructure supporting ISA's data programs, while also supporting project performance, resource planning, and risk mitigation. They design and manage data structures across hybrid on-premises and cloud database environments, build and monitor automated pipelines, and ensure data models are optimized for downstream analytics and reporting platforms. The Data Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams of analysts, project managers, and scientists, ensuring that technical solutions adhere to government data governance and security protocols, and serves as the primary technical point of contact for clients regarding pipeline status, technical roadblocks, and delivery.#

** Duties:
*** Designs, builds, tests, and maintains robust, scalable, and highly automated ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from diverse sources.
* Ensures data models and pipelines are optimized to support seamless integration with business analytics platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
* Monitors and tunes data pipelines and database queries to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and data availability.
* Works efficiently across hybrid environments, leveraging both on-premises databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google Big Query, or Azure Synapse).
* Implements data validation, error handling, and monitoring to ensure high data quality, accuracy, and security across all systems.
* Collaborates with analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translates them into scalable data solutions.
* Implements data quality checks and validation processes to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability of production data.
* Continuously improves pipeline efficiency, scalability, and maintainability through automation and best practices.
* Embodies and reinforces ISA's culture and mission-focused delivery approach.
