Fort Washington Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Security Officer for the Security Services department.
Responsibilities- Ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, visitors, physicians, and volunteers.
- Ensure quality outcomes for the security department by communicating effectively with security, staff, and the public.
- Conduct foot patrols of the facility and parking areas.
- Conduct vehicular patrols of the parking areas and off‑site locations.
- Assist with restraining violent patients.
- Use time and resources in a financially responsible manner.
- Foster group cohesiveness within the security department.
- Portray a positive image of the organization.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous security experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Must possess a U.S. Driver’s License.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Must be able to respond to physically demanding emergency calls.
Employment Type:
Full-time. Hours per week: 40. Typical daily schedule:
Monday through Friday. Shift type:
Evening. No weekend work.
$19.21 – $24.90 per hour.
