• Hourly: $41–48 per hour (depending on experience and fit)

• Perform service & troubleshooting, panel upgrades, whole home surge protection, remodels, light commercial (small offices), EV charger installation/service, fixtures, Smart home repair/installation, and outdoor lighting repair/installation.
• Work independently out of a company‑provided vehicle stocked with tools and technology.
• Diagnose, repair, and install residential electrical systems to NEC code and company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners; document work and complete service tickets.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and safety compliance; keep the van clean and organized.

• MD Journeyman license (
  * or within a month of taking the test).
• Minimum 4 years electrical experience, including at least 2 years residential service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to NEC‑compliant workmanship.
• Customer‑focused, reliable, and able to work independently while following company best practices. (Our processes are our differentiator and how we deliver the Best‑in‑Class service.)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; able to pass background check and drug test.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; takes pride in representing the reputable brand of Mr. Electric in the community and will carry the torch with respect.
• Availability for standard hours (M‑F, 8‑5 p) with flexibility per customer needs.

• Robust onboarding: online modules, in‑office sessions with the Owner, ride‑alongs with top techs, and structured reviews to ensure mastery.
• Clear pathway for technical and leadership growth; mentorship from experienced staff.
