Job Summary:
Responsible for general ledger, accounts receivable, fixed assets, treasury transactions, and maintaining appropriate records with accuracy.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct reports reporting to this position.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Daily posting of treasury transactions into general ledger.
- Daily accounts receivable reconciliation and process RMA and debit/credit notes.
- Daily general ledger account coding for Accounts Payable invoicing.
- Responsible for Project tracking of Capex spending and project setup and budget.
- Update fixed assets system with additions and disposals
- Customer and Supplier setup
- Property Tax preparation
- Monthly surcharge and transfer pricelist update
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Perform account reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Maintain general accounting files
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reporting
- Assist with annual financial Budget
- Meet monthly closing deadlines
- Assist with external auditors
- Cross train and back up daily invoicing
- Cross train and back up hourly payroll
- Cross train and back up other accounting positions.
- Perform special projects as assigned by Controller.
- Detail oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advance knowledge in excel for formatting, formulas, pivot tables.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent project and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast paced and at times stressful environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates professionalism and confidentiality in all communications and interactions with all internal and external colleagues, managers, and owners.
- Advance knowledge in excel for formatting, formulas, pivot tables.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP software.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or direct experience in a like role is required.
- At least 4 years as a Staff Accountant.
