Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Manager

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Manager (depending on experience) that can be located in Fort Wayne, IN. This position will oversee tax compliance, preparation, and planning for individuals and businesses. The role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accurate filing of tax documents, and staying updated on the latest tax regulations. Additionally, position will work collaboratively with the accounting team to provide clients with expert financial advice and ensure their needs are met with the highest level of service.

• Strong expertise in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax regulations including business returns, individual returns both with multi‑state filing compliance
• Skills in Financial Statements analysis and preparation
• Proficiency in Accounting principles, practices, and software (ideal candidate will have experience with Ultratax)
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• CPA certification preferred or path to CPA certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in a public accounting firm is a plus

• Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
