Senior Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to join the accounting team and assist with general accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant plays a critical role in providing timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.

• Execute month‑end and year‑end close including preparing and posting journal entries
• Review financial documents and data to ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting systems
• Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and perform other duties as assigned
• Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Must have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, a team player, and able to consistently meet or beat deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of Products, including Excel and Word

• Accounting/Finance degree required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required
• Inventory accounting in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Experience with ERP system is strongly preferred
• Professional certification (CPA) is preferred
