Accounting Specialist – Quick Books & Excel
Immediate Opening | Apply Today Fort Wayne – 100% onsite $40,000 – $45,000
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is highly proficient in Quick Books and Excel and can step in and contribute quickly.
What You'll Do- Handle day-to-day accounting functions and financial transactions
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
- Prepare, review, and reconcile financial information
- Process accounts payable and/or accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with month-end accounting activities
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare reports and perform financial data analysis
- Utilize Excel for reporting, tracking, and analysis
- Work extensively in Quick Books to maintain accurate financial records
- Strong accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting principles
- Advanced or highly proficient Quick Books skills
- Strong Excel skills, including working with formulas, spreadsheets, and financial data
- Experience with reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
