Circle Logistics is growing—and our Finance team is growing with us. We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to do more than maintain the books. This is a hands-on, high-visibility opportunity to own meaningful pieces of the accounting cycle, work with complex multi-entity financials, improve processes, and partner directly with Finance leadership.

At Circle, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Own significant portions of the month-end and year-end close
- Work with multiple entities and international subsidiaries
- Dive into high-volume freight and carrier transactions
- Partner with Finance and operational leadership
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes
- Build audit-ready reporting and strengthen internal controls
- Gain exposure to complex accounting that will expand your skill set

- Position yourself for future leadership opportunities
- Prepare, review, and validate journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and recurring/reversing entries
- Manage payroll accrual methodologies, including reverse-and-re-accrue processes
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
- Maintain the general ledger and keep the close calendar on track
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Manage intercompany eliminations
- Support consolidation across U.S. and international entities
- Navigate foreign-entity and multi-currency accounting considerations
- Maintain accurate entity-level and consolidated trial balances
- Handle freight revenue and cost recognition
- Reconcile operational data from our TMS,
Transport Pro
, into the accounting system - Manage AR/AP, factoring, and carrier-payment reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Develop clean, audit-ready work papers and reconciliations
- Serve as a key contact for external auditors
- Provide documentation and respond to audit requests
- Strengthen processes and internal controls as the organization grows
- Turn large, complex datasets into information leadership can actually use
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend better ways to do things
- Look for opportunities to automate repetitive accounting processes
- Help make our close and reporting processes faster, cleaner, and more scalable
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience owning month-end and year-end close activities
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Strong journal entry, reconciliation, and balance sheet analysis skills
- Advanced Excel skills—including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX, and large-dataset manipulation
- Experience working with ERP/general ledger systems
- Excellent attention to detail and deadline management
- Ability to explain not just what the numbers say, but why they say it
- CPA certification or are actively pursuing your CPA
- Freight brokerage, 3PL, transportation, or another high-volume transaction environment
- Multi-entity consolidation and intercompany elimination experience
- Transport Pro, Cargotel, or Tai experience
- SQL, Power Query, BI, or other data analytics/automation experience
