Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting account reconciliations.
- Manage the full payroll process, including payroll taxes and benefit-related payments.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, loans, and accruals.
- Maintain balance sheet schedules and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Coordinate insurance administration and support cross-functional financial initiatives.
- Identify process improvements and help strengthen accounting procedures.
What We're Looking For in a Staff Accountant
- 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Experience processing payroll and managing payroll tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Self-starter who thrives in an independent, hands-on role.
